If you are not receiving any emails from the yacht club or Mattia, double check to make sure your email is correct in the LYC Roster




Did you know that if you compete in at least 7 regattas in Texas or Nationally, you are automatically qualified for the Seahorse Race Team. 
First year racers need to compete in at least 4 regattas.
Last year we had 20 sailors qualify. 
This year we want you on our team!

Are you tired of paying locker space? Do you have a boat you don't even sail anymore? 
 
Here is a way to earn some good karma    and keep wealth within the club.

The Seahorses are starting a club fleet. Help  
a good cause and donate your boat (sunfish, opti, 420,laser or parts) to the Seahorse program. They will clean out your locker and inventory your boat for you.

I AM a Seahorse! 		 

 
 
The new Seahorse Sailing Center has become a great facility to base from. If you have not seen the new facility be sure to stop by the fuel dock and have Mattia give you the dime tour. The former Sea Scouts room has become the new office for Mattia and staff. The main body of the building has been rearranged to create a class/social room for the Seahorses. The 25 x 25 room has become a vital part of the program and has already served well hosting both Seahorse and Opti Camps. It will be utilized throughout the year as an instructional facility. Look for the Seahorses to host an open-house and dedication sometime soon.
